ESTABLISHMENT

The Allenby Dance Studio was first
established in the Redland’s in 1991.  We
can reflect on many achievements and the
pleasure of seeing so many of our students
mature into young adults, who have gained so much
from being a part of the Allenby Dance Studio. 
Students have the benefit of 2 fully equipped,
air-conditioned studios with a comfortable
foyer, upstairs study room and change rooms

WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER

Classes are offered in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Tap from beginners who may start from approx. 3 years of age, right through to advanced level. 

Adult courses in various styles are offered.  Private lessons are available for students preparing for solos at eisteddfods or for extra tuition. 

Students are offered the opportunity to be a part of our highly successful eisteddfod teams. 

We enjoy working with our students, and find teaching  always offers a new challenge. 

Students continue to be consistently successful in examinations with 100% pass rate, and Distinctions being awarded.

Students participate with outstanding success in Eisteddfods, performing in group, solo, and duo items.

The Allenby Dance Studio has been awarded many places throughout the Australian Teachers of Dancing Competitions and Scholarships. 

Students of the Allenby Dance Studio have been successful in gaining places at highly regarded dance institutions such as Brent Street Studios, Dance World 301, ED5, Australian Ballet School

Associates, Queensland Dance School of Excellence, Queensland Ballet Extension programs, Ballet Theatre, Victorian College of the Arts, ADPI, Conservatorium of Ballet and

QUT bachelor of fine arts.

 We are so proud of our students and their many achievements.  we can see that we have many young students setting the standards for the rest of the dancing community throughout the world.

A MESSAGE FROM THE TEACHERS

 The Allenby Dance Studio has  been established in the Redlands area since 1991 Our reputation as an outstanding school of dance is now well known.We are so proud of the wonderful school we have become, and the skill we are able to help our young people achieve.

At the Allenby Dance Studio we aim to give young people skills that set them up for life

2009  has seen the examination syllabi recognised by the Board of Education.Our year 11 and 12 students gain points and credits on their Senior School Certificates, for exams in all genres of dance. This in itself a testament to the value of learning to dance.

We firmly believe students who have the discipline to train in dance have the skills essential to achieve in many other areas.

We watch and guide our students as they develop into wonderful young adults with so much to offer.Our job is exhaustive but hugely rewarding. 

The development of our Web site,  Has a made it possible for the many,  outstanding achievements of our Eisteddfod teams and performers to be posted for all to see. Congratulations to all.
